Our campground sits along the banks of the beautiful Shavers Fork River and is suited solely for your camping enjoyment! From tenting and RVing, to our amazing furnished Park Model Unit, Jellystone Park & Camp-Resort is ideal for your entire family unit. There are always lots to do at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park™, including enjoying our two in-ground swimming pools and one kiddie- pool, playing a game of basketball or volleyball, watching Yogi Bear™ Cartoons, enjoying our "Hey" Wagon Ride, and much, much, more. Our many planned activities mean there's never a dull moment at our Elkins, West Virginia park!

May 23, 24, 25, 26, 2008 - YOGI BEAR'S MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND
Attention All: this is one of our biggest weekends, and we have a lot planned for our guest. Friday evening after check-in, we will have a photo-op with Yogi Bear at 7:45 p.m., followed by a hay wagon ride, and glow stick jollies afterward. Saturday morning we will have a flag making event, later that afternoon we will have a bicycle parade. BE SURE TO BRING YOUR BIKES SO WE CAN DECORATE THEM FOR THE AFTERNOON PARADE. Revelle's campground has also invited us to their pavilion for a Longaberger Basket and Product Bingo at 2:30 p.m, Saturday. Other weekend activities include: karaoke, Tupperware bingo, scavenger hunt, water balloon fight, and much, much more...

MAY 30 - JUNE 1, 2008 - PARENT DAY
ATTENTION ALL PARENTS: this weekend is all about you. This is parent appreciation weekend. (Since we don't have mother's day weekend, we can hardly just do dads. So we are including both). Kids activities will be making presents for mom and/or dad. Kids will challenge parents in volley ball and horseshoe tournament, and will end Saturday evening with a pizza party for all.

JUNE 6, 7, 8, 2008 - CHOCOLATE WEEKEND
Everybody loves chocolate! Things might get a little messy, but hey, who cares, it's chocolate. So, if you are a lover of all things chocolate, then you'll want to make sure you're here so you can enter our chocolate eating contest.We will also be making pudding, , chocolate pudding art, and a messy chocolate pudding fight. Come on out and have some fun, just make sure you bring extra clothes!!!

JUNE 13, 14, 15, 2008 - YOGI BEAR'S SHIVERS ME TIMBERS WEEKEND
Hey campers, be sure to bring your entire family for this old fashioned weekend extravaganza!!! Like the old primitive camping days! We will be having a gathering in our large Yogi Bear field that everyone will want to be a part of, because we are having wood chopping contest, cross saw contest, arm wrestling contest, and much, much more...All of our chopped wood will go toward the large bonfire afterward, bring your roasting sticks and hotdogs, we will provide the kool aide and pop.

JUNE 20, 21, 22, 2008 - YOGI BEAR'S BIRTHDAY PARTY
Calling all kids...come and celebrate Yogi Bear's Birthday this weekend. We will be having Yogi Bear's party Saturday afternoon with a cake, party favors and lots of party games. All the kids will be encouraged to bring Yogi Bear a special picture that they colored themselves! Yogi Bear has lots of plans for the kids... He is even going on the hay wagon ride with everyone!!! So bring your special picture and come celebrate with Yogi Bear.

JULY 4, 5, 6, 2008 - YOGI BEAR JELLYSTONE PARK 'S INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION
Hey, Hey, Hey, Campers...come celebrate this Fourth of July double weekend with your friends at the JELLY STONE Resort outside of Elkins, WV! Come prepared to DECORATE YOUR SITE with a RED-WHITE-BLUE theme...red-white-blue bicycle parade, and much, much more! So hook up those campers and come join Yogi Bear as he celebrates our nations birthday! We can't wait to meet ya! We have plenty planned for the weekend, which includes karaoke, Pampered Chef bingo, lunch with yogi Bear, and a sparklers parade.

JULY 11, 12, 13, 2008 - YOGI BEAR'S POLYNESIAN LUAU WEEKEND
Brush off those beach umbrellas, crack open a few coconuts, and join us for Yogi Bear's Polynesian Luau Weekend. Come prepared with YOUR OWN unique Polynesian outfit and enter YOUR site in our Perfectly Polynesian Campsite Decorating Contest. Then join our Luau/Tropical Beach Party on Saturday night where you can enter the hula 'hoop' contest, limbo contest, costume contest, pineapple eating contest and dance to Poor Richards Luau music.

JULY 18, 19, 20, 2008 - JELLYSTONE PARK CAMP-RESORT'S NATURE IN THE ROUGH/ WILD WONDERFUL WESTERN WEEKEND!
Campers bring your western gear and squirt guns, and get ready for a fun western weekend. We will be playing western games like the Mustang horse race, the hayride "hold up" and the three legged western race. Also, Jim Fregonara from the DNR will being doing a snake presentation at the Yogi Bear Pavilion on Saturday. During the hayride hold up...the campers will use their squirt guns while trying to hold off the masked bandits. Remember the bandits will also be armed with large turbo water guns.

JULY 25, 26, 27, 2008 - YOGI BEAR CELEBRATES HIS CHRISTMAS IN JULY
What does a hibernating bear miss? You got it...the entire CHRISTMAS HOLIDAY! Come prepared to decorate your campsite for Christmas and our nighttime lite stick Hey wagon ride. We will be Christmas caroling, tree trimming, and having a gift exchange with Santa. We hope you load up the family and celebrate Christmas with Yogi Bear. Anyone that wants to participate in the gift exchange-please bring a $5.00 wrapped gift.

August

AUGUST 1, 2, 3, 2008 - YOGI BEAR'S SPEEDWAY SPECTACULAR SPORTS SPECIAL!
Campers come to JELLY STONE Park and wear your tea shirts with your favorite race car driver. This weekend we will build and decorate box cars and race them in a 4-lap event. Later in the day the parents will be racing in our back up challenge while driving golf carts blindfolded. The "navigator" will give the driver commands on how to back up. The winner of the event will receive one night of free camping.

AUGUST 8, 9, 10, 2008 - AUGUSTA FESTIVAL/YOGI BEAR'S AMERICAN CRAFT SHOW
We have the Augusta Festival going on in Elkins, but we are also having our own Yogi Bear Craft Festival here at our park. If you are a creative camper, be sure to bring your camper and your crafts to our Great American Craft Show Weekend. All campers young and old will be making their own crafts this weekend and will be participating in organized activities. Be sure to register your campsite at the Ranger Station upon check-in, so we have a list with craft items included on our MUST SEE CRAFTER CAMPSITE LIST! Don't miss this chance to sell and show off your talents.

AUGUST 17, 18, 19, 2008 - YOGI BEAR'S MEXICAN FIESTA WEEKEND
Burritos, piñata's, you name it... This weekend is our Mexican theme, so get ready for some fun!
Yogi Bear will be having a Fiesta party with piñata's for the young and old along with music and activities. Our Saturday evening Fiesta will include a covered dish Mexican meal, followed with a glow stick parade for the kids. Bring your costumes and think parade, because we are having a best dressed contest. The lucky winner will win one free night of camping for their family!

AUGUST 23, 24, 25, 2008 - JELLYSTONE PARK CAMP-RESORT'S WORLD SERIES DERBY
Oh, the competition gets tough during the World Series Derby Weekend. This weekend Yogi Bear Park will be competing against Revelles Campground. We will have an adult horseshoe tournament- the winner will compete with the champion of the other park. Kids will do a bean bag tossing competition between the parks. Stretches during the games- will include chicken dance and take me out to the ball game song by our volunteer cheerleaders. Saturday evening we will have a pot luck meal between the campgrounds in the Yogi Bear Pavilion.

AUG. 29 - Sept. 1, 2008 -YOGI BEAR'S ALL-AMERICAN LABOR DAY SALUTE
Come show your pride and gratitude for our great nation's American military and emergency service personnel. Participate in patriotic themed activities and all American events like l, apple bobbing, craft making, scavenger hunts, and much, much more! This weekend break out your American flags, get decked out in Red-White-Blue and come participate in our Sunday morning tribute.

SEPTEMBER 5, 6, 7, 2008 - YOGI BEAR'S EASTER IN SEPTEMBER EGGS-STRAV-A-GANZA!
Our bear, Yogi Bear, enjoyed Easter Activities soooo much in April, he wanted us to repeat it again in September. So guess what? If you missed our first Egg-stra special holiday event, you are in luck because "Hippity-Hoppity" Easter's on its way to JELLY STONE Camp Resort in Elkins, WV. Saturday morning we will have egg coloring followed by an Easter egg hunt for the kids that afternoon.

SEPTEMBER 12, 13, 14, 2008 - YOGI BEAR'S HAPPY HALLOWEEN IN SEPTEMBER
Dig out your costumes and decorations for this spook-tac-u-lar fun filled weekend. Be sure to bring lights and decorations so you can entire our Halloween Light & Theme Site decorating contest for a cash prize. You will also enjoy Halloween crafts/games, trick-or-treating, and a Halloween bash Saturday evening. Please bring candy to give out to our little trick-or-treaters.

SEPTEMBER 19, 20, 21, 2008 - YOGI BEAR'S MIDNIGHT MADNESS SALE
Yogi Bear will be put to bed for a long winter hibernation. Store will be closing at 6:00pm Saturday, but will re-open at 9:00pm for a huge sale. Items in shopping basket will be reduced by balloon discount mount, at point of sale. Those dressed in PJ's can add one extra item to stash AFTER BALLOON HAS BURST.

OCTOBER 3, 4, 5, 2008 - MOUNTAIN STATE FOREST FESTIVAL IN FULL SWING
Christopher Columbus has NOTHING us this weekend! Why don't you come discover Randolph County during one of West Virginia's largest celebrations...the Mountain State Forest Festival! You can enjoy various craft bazaars, forestry and wood product displays, primitive camping exhibits, model rail road exhibits, train rides, parades, and much, much more. SITES ARE LIMITED so make your reservations early. This will be our last weekend before we put Yogi Bear to bed. So make sure you come out for Sunday morning photo-op with Yogi Bear and a special fare-well hey wagon ride.
